I intend to explore my own thoughts and opinions about a laundry list of social and ethical problems that society faces today. Just to give you an idea about those issues, I'll make a rough listing, in no particular order.
- Gay Marriage
- Abortion Rights
- Human Cloning
- The war in Afghanistan
- The war in Iraq
- Seperation of Church and State
- Absolutism (any theory holding that values, principles, etc., are absolute and not relative, dependent, or changeable.)
- Freethinking
I will do my best to provide legitimate documentation to back up everything that I say.
The biggest thing that I want to press into your mind is the importance of these three basic tennets:
- Think for yourself.
- Always have a good reason for your beliefs.
- Nothing (not even religion) is exempt from question and examination.
